Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever – Hebrews 13:8

2 Corinthians Series – Part 18 – How to Make Choices Without Regret

Frank Guglielmo – 2 corinthians 5:8-11
Have you ever looked back at a decision and wished you could do it over? We all face choices that impact our lives and the lives of those we love. In this message, Pastor Frank Guglielmo explores how to live a life directed by eternal priorities so that we can stand confident before the Lord without regret.

Continuing our series in 2 Corinthians, we dive into Chapter 5, verses 8–11. We explore the profound reality of the “judgment seat of Christ” and what it means to labor for His acceptance, whether we are present in the body or absent from it.

Key Highlights in This Message:

Living for His Acceptance: Understanding the weight of our daily decisions and how they ripple into eternity.
The Solar System Analogy: A powerful illustration of how our lives should orbit around the Son, grounding complex theological truths in a relatable way.
The Son is the centre of all things! We should orbit the Son!
The Judgment Seat of Christ: What it means to appear before Him and receive what is done in the body, whether good or bad.
A Call to Action: Practical steps to ensure your “today” is built on a foundation that lasts.

Easter Sunday Sermon 2026 – The Hope Of Resurrection

He is risen! The celebration of the most significant day in history—the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

In this sermon, we explore the various Gospel narratives to piece together the dramatic events of that first Easter morning. Beyond the empty tomb and the angelic messengers, we focus on the deeply personal encounters the disciples had with the risen Christ—reminding us that we serve a Saviour who is not only powerful but intimately knows each of us by name.

Key Themes Include:

A Multifaceted Picture: Reconciling the accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to see the full story of the resurrection morning.
The Power of Personal Connection: How Mary Magdalene recognized His voice, John recognized His “handwriting” in a folded napkin, and the disciples at Emmaus knew Him in the breaking of bread.
The Physical Reality: Examining the evidence that Jesus rose in the flesh—eating with His disciples and showing the marks in His hands and feet.
A Lively Hope: Reflecting on 1 Peter 1:3 and how the victory over death transforms our fear into bold testimony.
Our Story to Tell: The call for every believer to share their own personal encounter with the living Christ.

2 Corinthians Series – Part 17 – The Promise Of Our Heavenly Home

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 5:1-8
In a world that often feels temporary and uncertain, where do we find a hope that lasts? In this message, Pastor Frank Guglielmo shares a powerful reminder of the eternal promises God has for those who trust in Him. Drawing from recent experiences of loss and hope within our own church family, we explore what it truly means to look forward to our “heavenly building.”

As we continue our verse-by-verse study of 2 Corinthians, we dive into Chapter 5, verses 1–8. We examine the contrast between our “earthly tabernacle”—this temporary, fragile body—and the eternal house God is preparing for us in the heavens.

Key Highlights in This Message:

Hope Within Grief: A personal reflection on the lives and testimonies of our brethren, reminding us that as believers, we do not grieve without hope.
The Tabernacle vs. The Building: Understanding why our earthly bodies are like temporary tents and how God is replacing them with an eternal structure that never fails.
The Earnest of the Spirit: Exploring how the Holy Spirit acts as God’s “deposit” or “down payment” in our hearts, guaranteeing our future inheritance.
Absent from the Body, Present with the Lord: The great confidence we have that the moment we leave this physical life, we are immediately in the presence of our Savior.
Walking by Faith: How to maintain an eternal perspective while navigating the struggles and weaknesses of our earthly walk.

2 Corinthians Series – Part 16 – A Christian’s Peace

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 4;15-18,
2 Corinthians 5:6, 2 Corinthians 4:7, 1 Thessalonians 4:13
The devil is allowing us to go through sifting but we will not give up. We must stand firm and run the race for Jesus. Our afflictions are light compared to the afflictions Jesus had. We need to keep our focus in that which is eternal. Do not seek the world that is here today and gone tomorrow. We have a more perfect glorious thing to look forward to, that is, “to be absent with the body is to be present with the Lord!”

2 Corinthians Series – Part 14 – Spiritual Warfare

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 4:3-12
2 Corinthians 4:17-18, Acts 26:18, John 8:23, Revelation 21:5, John 16:13
Spiritual Warfare is actually real! Satan is a real entity! There is a spiritual battle around us.
God through the Holy Spirit shines the light on truth. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6
Jesus Christ is LORD! Through our weakness God uses us and glorifies himself in the process.
Are we the light in our generation?

2 Corinthians Series – Part 13 – Motivation Through God’s Mercy

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 4:1-2
What motivates you to do the things of the Lord?
We have the fruits (Galatians 5:22) within us to be Christlike and godly for others to see and gifts (Romans 12:5) to do the work we are called to do.
Our job is to take every opportunity God opens to do good to all men by His strength.
Isaiah 40:28-31, Romans 12:1-2
Our motivation is Jesus; “Looking unto Jesus the author an finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

2 Corinthians Series – Part 12 – Liberty Through God’s Spirit

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 3:17-18
The Trinity is a revelation of our one God consisting of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Through the Spirit of God and Jesus within us we are able to interact with God.
With the Spirit within us we are now freed!
Freed to conquer sin. Freed to obey God. Freed to proclaim the gospel. Freed to live for Hm. Freed to worship Him. Freed to live and grow. Freed to love because God loved us first.

2 Corinthians Series – Part 11 – Unveiled Through Christ

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 3:14-18
For a very long time the nature of man has been addicted to blindness.
Judaism as seen today is founded on the Pharisees.
The Talmud authored by the Pharisees is required to explain the book of Moses.
The reason Jews don’t believe in Christ is because they follow the Telmud which denies Christ as Saviour.
The same gospel saves everyone in the world the same way.
Our desire and prayer should be as written in Romans 10:1 “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.”

2 Corinthians Series – Part 10 – The New Testament Is More Glorious Than The Old Testament

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 3:12-16
The New Testament is more glorious the the Old Testament as it contains the gospel, that is the good news! The Old Testament only points to something to come, the New Testament shows us the manifestation of God through Jesus.
We do not follow the commandments to be saved, Jesus is the only door to salvation!
Jesus fulfilled the law and only used the law to show us we were sinners and needed Him.
If you are on a different road you are on the wrong road! Fear and following rules do not change you only the gospel will transform us to be like Jesus.

2 Corinthians Series – Part 9 – God Is Our Commendation

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 3:1-11
Letters of commendation have been in place for a long time. For example John wrote a good report on Demetrius in 3 John and Paul on Onesimus in Philemon.
In the second letter to the Corinthians Paul is writing a letter of commendation about himself.
God alone can make us sufficient to serve Him.
Without Christ we are never sufficient.
Christ strengthens us.
We need the grace of God every day.
Let Christ be our inspiration and example. He is our glory!

2 Corinthians Series – Part 5 – Be Christians Of Integrity

Pastor Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 1:14-24
Seeing Jesus work through us is an exciting thing and seeing that work permeate in others is exhilarating. (Romans 12:10)
There is no greater joy than to serve God. The more you do for the Lord, the more you will want to do.
Jesus is our perfect example, the author and finisher of our faith.
He was willing to go to the cross and the joy before Him was us! (Hebrews 12:2)
Paul says the same, all the work he did would be for the joy of seeing the Corinthians well in Christ, he was committed to them. (1 Corinthians 1:20, Romans 15:8-10)

2 Corinthians Series – Part 3 – God Is Our Greatest Comforter

Frank Guglielmo
2 Corinthians 1:3-11, Psalm 103:8-11, 2 Peter 3:9
Following Christ in this world will bring you suffering. In the midst of the suffering there is comfort in Jesus.
He is able to succour us throughout the suffering as we grow in Him through it.
The Holy Spirit within us is called the comforter and just like Christ is comforting us trough tribulation, with this comfort we can comfort others. Jesus said, ” in the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; i have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Keep following Christ with Him near you as your comforter!

2 Corinthians Series – Part 2 – Grace Be Unto You

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 1:1-2, 1 Corinthians 4:16, Romans 5:1-2, 1 Peter 5:5, Philippians 4:4
Grace and peace is the blessing of the second letter to the Corinthians. Paul needed Timothy to help his work. What about us? We are called to commit our lives to do the work of God. You need to be a member of a church and serve God together!
Every person in the church is needed, can we be trusted to represent the ministry of our church?
With grace supplied from God, you can do the work!

2 Corinthians Series – Part 1 – The Apostles

Frank Guglielmo – 2 Corinthians 1:1-2, 1 Corinthians 15:4, Matthew 10:1-14, John 2:16-19, Luke 10:1, 2 Peter 3:15, Acts 15:12, Ephesians 2:19-20
The twelve Apostles were chosen, named and sent out by Jesus with the power given to them to heal and perform miracles.
Paul too was called by Jesus to be an apostle to the Gentiles. (Acts 9:15)
The apostles went forth in faith, trusting Jesus, taking nothing with them, to spread His Word. They did exactly what Jesus asked of them.
Be ready to be called by God, trust in him and move, working for Him!
Learn from the apostles, do we go where the Lord leads us? Live for Jesus!

Jesus The Perfect Example Of Love – The Debt Of Love – Part 4

Frank Guglielmo – 1 Corinthian 3:10-14, Romans 13:8, Luke 2:46
Jesus knew his mission at twelve years of age and was busy doing his Father’s work.
Just like Jesus we should be busy about our Father’s business.
We are called to deliver our story; “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Is Love Your Life’s Motivation? – The Debt Of Love – Part 3

Frank Guglielmo – 1 John 4:14-17, Luke 11:13, Revelation 2:2, Ephesians 3:17
Since God saved us, He loves us and cares for us!
Therefore we should make God first in our life, do we plan the things of God in our daily TO DO List?
God is our boss, we work for the best boss therefore we need to be the best employee we can be for God.
We are called to produce love through the works of God that keeps multiplying and lasts forever, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement and hear the words “well done my God and faithful servant”.
