Steve is the son of missionaries who served in Congo, Africa until he was 10 years old. His parents then planted 2 churches in the state of Maine in the USA.
Jan grew up in the Midwest section of the States. They met when on the missionary deputation trail. Both were raising support to serve in Australia with the same mission board (Baptist Mid Missions).
They were married in 1978 and arrived in Australia for their first term of service in 1980. Their primary ministry has been teaching and administration at Victoria Baptist Bible College.
They have assisted in the planting of several churches in Victoria…. Croydon Baptist Church, Living Springs Baptist Church, Open Door Baptist Church, Meadowview Baptist Church, and Faith Baptist Church.
The Lord has blessed them with two children. John is married to Juliet and they live in the USA where John is in graduate school in preparation for a Bible college teaching ministry. Anna Beth is a missionary serving in Bible translation ministry in Chad, Africa.
